Upon seeing Zhou Shun’s message, Yin Jian immediately opened Yidu to search. Soon, he downloaded a black-and-white app. Opening this gaming platform called “FanYou,” Yin Jian quickly found the game Zhou Shun mentioned, titled “Final War.” After playing for a few minutes, Yin Jian exited the game with a grim expression. The level of plagiarism was highly sophisticated. Although the setting and gameplay closely resembled “Myth Rebirth,” there was not a single flaw to point out. The infringer had strictly stayed within the boundaries of plagiarism standards. “A master,” Yin Jian muttered, frowning deeply. He had also been involved in the production of “Myth Rebirth.” Learning that someone had copied it was naturally unsettling. Yet, this plagiarist was indeed experienced, keeping everything just on the edge of what was permissible, making it impossible to find solid evidence. After much thought, Yin Jian still couldn’t think of a good solution. After all, he was not familiar with this aspect of the business. “The legal department at Qiyou should have experience,” he thought. With this in mind, Yin Jian activated his lightbrain and replied to Zhou Shun: “Brother Zhou, you should ask the operations manager about this.” In Fengyue Street, in a luxurious apartment, Zhou Shun frowned as he saw Yin Jian’s message. “Is this considered work...?” He hesitated between contacting Shitou or Qingzhu. Subconsciously, he leaned toward Shitou, since he was more familiar with and trusted him. But then he recalled what Shitou had said earlier in the group chat: “Better to ask Qingzhu; Shitou isn’t working right now.” Having made his decision, Zhou Shun opened the group chat and privately messaged Qingzhu: “Greenhat Fengyue Landlord: Qingzhu, a designer from another platform plagiarized my game, though they didn’t cross the line, just hovering on the edge.” Qingzhu replied: “Platform and game title?” “FanYou, ‘Final War,’” Zhou Shun answered. After sending the message, Zhou Shun waited for a reply. But after more than ten minutes, no response came, making him frown. He wasn’t Qingzhu’s contracted designer, so it was normal for Qingzhu not to care much. Just as he was debating whether to contact Shitou, Qingzhu finally replied: “Already taken down. Compensation is being negotiated by the legal department. Since they didn’t cross the line, it won’t be much.” Zhou Shun stared at the message, mouth slightly open, hardly believing his eyes. After reading it twice and confirming on FanYou, he finally came back to his senses.

The efficiency was simply incredible. “Greenhat Fengyue Landlord: Qingzhu, you’re amazing!” Meanwhile, elsewhere, Lu Guo sent the trial version of his game to Qingzhu, anxiously awaiting feedback. Qingzhu responded: “The currency system is unbalanced; character actions lack causality; there’s no interaction among animals, so no emotional depth.” He added: “[Suggestions for changes], [Data balancing], [Game templates].” Lu Guo’s eyes went wide as he read Qingzhu’s message. Every point hit the mark, and the advice and additional documents were immensely helpful. “So professional,” Lu Guo was stunned by Qingzhu’s expertise. Although Yu Jia was responsible, compared to a veteran operator like Qingzhu, she was still too inexperienced. “Happy Afro: Qingzhu is awesome!” Meanwhile, at Baichiao Star Pioneer Manor—the residence of the planet’s owners—Yu Jia had just reached the manor’s entrance when a sudden chill at her back made her sense that something was amiss. “Strange,” she murmured, looking around. Finding nothing unusual, she entered the manor. Inside, she immediately spotted her father, Yu Zheng, standing in the hall practicing calligraphy. Yu Zheng was a sturdy man, though only about 1.6 meters tall, which was short in an era with an average height of 1.8 meters. Yu Jia tiptoed beside him and looked at the white paper in his hand. The characters were wild and chaotic; after staring for a long time, she couldn’t recognize a single one. “Dad, why are you practicing calligraphy? Weren’t you practicing military boxing before?” “Xiao Jia, let’s not talk about that now. Help me see if my writing looks like a master’s,” Yu Zheng said seriously, lifting the paper to show her. “Dad, you only wrote one character,” Yu Jia asked cautiously. “Jue?” Yu Zheng raised an eyebrow, looking proud. “No, it’s ugly,” she replied firmly. Seeing her father’s proud expression, Yu Jia was blunt. If others might spare his feelings, Yu Jia, known as the Thorn Vest, didn’t care much. “...ahem,” Yu Zheng coughed twice, casually tossing the paper on the table and changing the subject: “By the way, weren’t you at work today? Why are you home so early?” “The company sent me out for training,” she answered without hiding anything from her father. “Out? Where? Another star system?” Yu Zheng frowned. Yu Jia had never left Baichiao Star since childhood, so as a father, he naturally wanted to know. “The server farm, near the boundary of the Xiahua Star Domain,” Yu Jia recalled. Hearing this, Yu Zheng’s frown deepened. The border area was a frontier, referring to the exploration zone. Other species often appeared there, and not all were friendly. It was a dangerous place. After a moment’s thought, Yu Zheng said, “I have an old comrade there. I’ll notify him so when you arrive, you’ll have someone to look out for you.” “Dad, that won’t be necessary...” “It is. Don’t take safety lightly. If you don’t agree, I won’t let you leave Baichiao Star.” Hearing the firm tone, Yu Jia had no choice but to nod reluctantly. She knew her father’s stubbornness matched her own. Seeing her nod, Yu Zheng’s expression softened, and he smiled: “That’s my good daughter.” “Here is a photo of your Uncle Yin. Don’t mistake him.” Yu Zheng said, projecting a 3D image through his lightbrain. It was a stern-looking middle-aged man exuding a military aura that made one dare not look directly at him. But upon seeing his face clearly, Yu Jia was stunned. This face was deeply engraved in her memory. “So... my mischievous middle-aged designer Yin Jian is actually my dad’s comrade, my uncle?” she whispered, feeling overwhelmed. This was so surreal, even the wildest stories wouldn’t dare write something like this. “Mischievous?” Yu Zheng looked puzzled at Yu Jia. She quickly waved her hand: “Nothing, nothing.” She felt it wouldn’t be good if her father knew too much. “Alright, I’ll send you his lightbrain ID. Contact your Uncle Yin when you arrive. Now go pack.” “Okay,” Yu Jia nodded stiffly. Her head felt heavy. “Maybe I shouldn’t go for training after all?” The thought flashed through her mind but was immediately dismissed. This was a chance to grow rapidly, and she would never give it up. “As long as I’m not embarrassed, he’ll be the one feeling awkward.” Yu Jia recalled something Yin Jian said in college and felt it was fitting here.
