As a newcomer, my first launch is truly exciting.

This book marks so many firsts for me.

My first time on Sanjiang.

My first time reaching over twenty thousand bookmarks before launch (maybe thirty thousand).

My first time not missing a single update before launch.

My first time handing out fifty permanent mute packages in one day.

My first time being reported.

My first time on the homepage of the app.

My first time seeing so many reading lists add my book.

And so on...

I've learned that first times can be repeated and repaired—what a wonderful discovery!

Now, I ask for full subscriptions... Well, perhaps I don’t deserve that, so I’ll just ask for first-day subscriptions.

Speaking honestly, this book isn’t written very well—I’ve made plenty of rookie mistakes: the character development, the pacing, the richness of the plot, all could have been better.

The reason is that I started the book too impulsively!

I must admit, I’m truly brave.

The most absurd part is that I still managed to make it onto Sanjiang.

Originally, I thought this book would max out at five hundred subscriptions.

All I can say is: Feather Duster is forever!

Now, about this book.

I’m just dabbling in some wild ideas; nothing else can compare with the masters. So, after comparing my planned content with the works of the pros...

My goodness, what rubbish did I write?

So, I glossed over it, skillfully playing to my strengths and covering my weaknesses.

However, this means that when I originally planned to reach the arc where “The Cultivator” is created by thirty thousand words, now, before even hitting twenty thousand, I’m already wrapping it up...

I once said I’d end at a million words, but now even eighty thousand seems difficult.

But, if you think about it differently, I’m actually saving everyone the cost of two hundred thousand words!

As for readers saying a certain game segment was dull,

That’s perfectly normal—just as everyone has different preferences, a single girl can never satisfy everyone’s taste (except for those purely lustful fans).

There’s nothing I can do about that, except to try and make each game as interesting as possible.

But I’m just a struggling author with limited ability, unable to cover all bases like the masters.

If you really don’t like it, just skip—it won’t affect your reading experience.

Lastly, let me warn those brothers who want to write: episodic novels are truly difficult, so tread carefully. It really taxes your brain.

Every plot feels like drafting a whole new novel.

Changing arcs causes you to lose readers, which is the most painful part—it can make you doubt yourself.
