Chapter Thirty-Nine: A Temporary Departure from Marvel!

Everyone speculated whether there had been another alien invasion, resulting in a fierce battle with Thor. Especially when, the following day, Thor was inadvertently photographed by reporters, his face swollen and discolored with bruises—this only lent more credence to the rumor.

A few days later, Hao Yun idled about the base, not daring to venture outside, and certainly not to school. Far from cooling down, the Illuminati’s fame only burned brighter. Every channel on television was filled with commentary about the organization. They interviewed passersby, celebrities, public figures… In short, the Illuminati had become a national sensation, idolized and celebrated by the masses.

Naturally, Tony wasn’t about to let others reap the rewards of his reputation. He promptly launched a new type of Arc Reactor under the Illuminati’s name, completely replacing traditional electricity and establishing himself as the world’s largest energy supplier!

Sitting on the sofa, Hao Yun watched the interviews on television… Indeed, the storyline had diverged greatly from what he remembered from his previous life.

“Although this event, now confirmed as an alien invasion, caused immense losses, the civilian group known as the Illuminati, regarded as superheroes, has brought comfort to the people…”

Tony had preempted the Superhero Registration Act—his rules were even stricter. This was largely why, after the war, no nation pursued retribution against the Avengers.

Hao Yun stroked his chin. Yes, things felt good now: world peace, no danger.

Aside from Hydra, hidden within S.H.I.E.L.D., and as long as they made no moves, there shouldn’t be any supervillains emerging on a global scale for the time being.

There was no need to consider the latter—Shrouding the Heavens was far too dangerous, filled with coffin-dragging dragons and constant battles against fate; even the cheapest items cost tens of thousands of points… He couldn’t afford it, nor did he dare try.

He was still young—maybe next time…

Naruto, however, was perfect for improving his strength. Strange and powerful ninja techniques, the mighty Wood Style, various kekkei genkai… Even if he didn’t use them himself, they’d make great gifts for others!

Imagine: Iron Man’s suit enhanced with Susanoo; Hulk endowed with immortality; Natasha breathing fireballs; Captain wielding Lightning Style as a shield across the battlefield… With Tony’s genius accelerating chakra storage, these would surely revolutionize the MCU!

By then, even if Thanos brought his army, he’d be no match for a squad of Susanoo wielders!

“System, how can I travel to the Naruto world?”

“Top-tier materials and bloodlines from the Naruto world are not for direct sale. To obtain them, the host must travel to the Naruto world and complete missions for the providers of these resources or bloodlines.

Is there any item the host wishes to purchase?”

Otherwise, what if someone accidentally grew a Chakra Tree in the MCU?

Having made up his mind, Hao Yun went to inform his uncle Tony, asking him to tell his mother, Angel, that he was heading out for some cosmic wandering. Before Tony could catch up, he locked onto the Naruto world and contacted the system to accept the mission.

“System, I accept the mission!”

“Mission accepted. Initiating the Multiverse Portal!”

In the depths of his consciousness, a great dark door slowly opened… In reality, a flash of light enveloped Hao Yun’s body, and he vanished from his room.
