Bed 84 has collapsed.
Jin Yulian’s face was flushed with a rosy glow. She beckoned to me seductively, saying, “Feng, come here! Tonight, I am yours. Do whatever you wish—I'm willing to give myself to you. Don't hesitate.”
I was taken aback, wondering why Jin Yulian, who knew all too well that we could never truly be together, would choose to do this. Was she seeking redemption, wanting to become my lover, or simply yearning for a fleeting moment of passion?
Seeing me lost in thought, Jin Yulian fixed her enchanting gaze on me, her fingers deftly unfastening the buttons of her blouse. “Come on, Feng! What are you afraid of? Even if I can't marry you in the future, I can still be your lover.”
Her words sent a surge of heat through me—yes! Jin Yulian was willing to be my lover, something I had dreamed of for so long. Why should I hold back? If I slept with her, I’d lose nothing.
At that moment, Jin Yulian lying on the bed seemed as alluring as Pan Jinlian from the movies—bewitching and irresistible. I could no longer restrain myself. My throat was parched, my cheeks burning. “Yulian, then I shall take the liberty,” I said.
Jin Yulian smiled sweetly. “It's alright, we're both adults. Whatever happens, I won’t ask you to take responsibility.”
My throat emitted a lustful growl. “Yulian, then I won't hold back!” I hurriedly tore off my jacket and lunged toward her.
Jin Yulian let out a light, playful laugh, rolling her body just enough for me to miss, and I landed on the bed beside her. Clearly, she hadn’t drunk herself into oblivion.
Seeing me miss my mark, she turned and smirked mischievously. “Come and get me!” I rolled toward her, reaching out to embrace her waist, only for her to stand up and tease, “Chase me if you want me!”
In those moments, we forgot all the worries and sorrows of the past, playing together like young lovers. As she stood, I lunged and wrapped my arms around her from behind.
Jin Yulian struggled half-heartedly, letting me hold her. She turned, her body tinged with the scent of alcohol and perfume, intoxicating my senses. Her lips, vivid and red, drew me in, but she resisted my kiss with playful protest...
Her fragrance overwhelmed me, and I could no longer hold back. I tightened my embrace until her struggles ceased. She laughed and scolded, “You're such a naughty boy, but I like it.” Finally, we clung to each other, standing beside the bed, heated with passion.
We fell together onto the bed, but suddenly there was a loud crack—Jin Yulian’s body pressed against mine—and we crashed to the floor. Damn it! The bed had collapsed beneath us.
What bad luck! Thankfully, there was a blanket cushioning us, and the bed wasn’t high off the ground. Neither of us was hurt, but the bed was ruined. What now? It was winter, and such things were best done beneath warm covers; outside the blankets, it would be cold and uncomfortable.
Jin Yulian lay atop me, unable to keep from giggling. “Feng, what a lousy bed! It failed at the crucial moment! Hehe.” I was frustrated. “Yulian, stop laughing and help me up.”
Since the bed had collapsed, I was stuck underneath, Jin Yulian pressed on top of me. If she didn’t get up, I couldn’t move either, but instead of rising, she laughed even harder. “This isn’t bad—quite romantic!”
I couldn’t help myself; I reached up to tickle her under her arms. Jin Yulian squirmed, unable to withstand the sensation, and finally climbed off me... She stifled her laughter, got up first, then helped me to my feet.
Rising, I glared at the broken bed, thoroughly annoyed. Was the bed conspiring against us, keeping us from enjoying a moment of passion?
Seeing my troubled expression, Jin Yulian touched my cheek lightly. “Why not go to my car? We can turn on the heater so we won’t be cold.”
Scenes from movies flashed through my mind. Wasn’t this just the thing? The thought excited me. “Alright! But... if someone sees us, that would be embarrassing.”
Jin Yulian checked her phone. “It’s nearly one in the morning. Who would be wandering outside on such a cold winter night?”
Her reasoning made sense. “Let’s go, then.” Eager, I threw on my jacket and scooped her up.
We made our way to Jin Yulian’s car, excitement mounting. The surroundings were quiet—no pedestrians, no passing vehicles.
Without delay, Jin Yulian opened the car door, and I slipped inside with her. She started the engine, turning on the heater, laughing as she scolded me. “Why are you so impatient? I’m not running away. Out, out! The driver’s seat is too cramped—let’s go to the back.”
Her suggestion was reasonable. Reluctantly, I climbed out, watching as Jin Yulian got out as well, and I eagerly lifted her in my arms.
She made tiny fists and playfully punched me, laughing. “Look at you, so eager—it’s like...”
Suddenly, she stopped, worried she might remind me of past unhappiness.
I laid her gently on the seat, preparing for intimacy, when Jin Yulian joked, “You haven’t even closed the car door—aren’t you cold?”
I closed the door, and perhaps out of shyness, she squirmed a little.
Excitement made my fingers tremble—I struggled for ages but couldn’t undo a single button. Jin Yulian laughed, “You really are hopeless... hehe.”
Embarrassed and a bit annoyed, I was about to pounce, when suddenly my phone rang.
I cursed aloud, “Damn, who’s calling at this hour? Can’t they see I’m busy?”
Without checking who it was, I impatiently answered, “Who the hell are you? Do you know what time it is? I’m about to have fun with a woman...”
On the other end, a woman’s voice replied, “Brother, it’s me.” Hearing her voice, I was mortified. “Sister, it’s you! Sorry, I was half asleep and didn’t check who was calling.”
She said, “It’s alright, my fault for waking you in the middle of the night.” Her voice sounded sad, so I asked, “Sister, is something wrong? Why did you call me so urgently?”
She hesitated, then said, “Brother, I couldn’t sleep. I miss you.”
