Qiao Mian took in everyone’s expressions, unable to suppress a smile.

“There are even more miraculous things here,” he said, smiling.

The battle suit concealed his face, so no one could see his expression.

“What things?” Wang Yangzhe asked.

“Anything you can imagine,” Qiao Mian replied. “Anything that brings you joy, you’ll find it here.”

Yang Xu whispered, “Does that mean we get to talk with scientists like Tony Stark?”

Qiao Mian was momentarily stunned. “If you want, of course.”

Thinking of Iron Man made him grit his teeth a little. That guy had an insatiable appetite. He’d even said he wanted a monthly salary of ten thousand game coins before considering a part-time gig here!

“Come on, let’s go see our giant python,” Qiao Mian urged.

Liang Xiaoyu hesitated.

[Xiaoyu, hurry up.]

[I want to see a beauty getting licked by a python.]

[You’re no longer pure, streamer. I never want to kiss you again.]

[I feel even more excited. Xiaoyu, have a baby with me.]

[Such a thick, long python. Ooh ooh ooh.]

After a while, Qiao Mian noticed the others had walked five or six meters ahead, but the female streamer still stood where she was.

He turned back to urge her. “Are you worried my dinosaur will go hungry if you stay here?”

“I…” Liang Xiaoyu started, but couldn’t finish.

Qiao Mian realized something and shook his head. “Relax, I was just joking earlier. Python Thirteen won’t lick you again.”

Liang Xiaoyu smiled awkwardly and hurried to catch up.

Ten minutes later.

At Qiao Mian’s call, a swarm of pythons surrounded them.

Liang Xiaoyu stared at the dense cluster of massive snake heads, sweat breaking out on her forehead.

Wang Lang stuck close to Qiao Mian, his steps a little uncertain.

Zhang Fei kept adjusting his grip on his gun, a sense of unease prickling his skin.

Even Yang Xu, with his typical middle-aged scientist’s composure, looked somewhat panicked.

Never mind pythons—even ordinary snakes, gathered by the hundreds, would unsettle anyone.

Only Wang Yangzhe’s eyes sparkled; he went up and stroked each giant snake head in turn, then called back, “They’re so strange—their bodies aren’t as cold as I expected.”

The hundred-odd pythons flicked their tongues past his face from every direction.

Wang Yangzhe shouted to Liang Xiaoyu in the distance, “Xiao Liang, could you take a picture of me?”

Liang Xiaoyu felt her scalp tingling.

She hesitated, then took out the camera hanging around her neck.

“Get a bit closer,” Wang Yangzhe said. “These big guys are way more fun than the golden pythons I keep at home.”

“It’s even more fun when they eat you,” Bumblebee, who’d been trying to interject, finally chimed in.

Wang Yangzhe ignored him.

He’d realized that Bumblebee was a chatterbox, always playing music—though some songs were right up his alley.

Liang Xiaoyu handed her camera to Yang Xu. “Professor Yang, I’m scared. You go take the photo.”

Yang Xu waved his hands, turning to the side. “Colonel Wang?”

Wang Lang nodded at Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei said, troubled, “I don’t know how to use a DSLR.”

“No worries, just use your phone,” Wang Yangzhe called out from the center of the pythons, holding a snake head in each hand, ecstatic.

The group exchanged silent glances.

Helpless, Zhang Fei took the photos for him.

Liang Xiaoyu’s livestream chat was full of laughter.

[Haha, a bunch of cowards, this is hilarious.]

[Professor Wang is awesome!]

[Doesn’t anyone find Bumblebee adorable? Every time he wants to speak, Mr. Qiao looks at him.]

[Poor Bumblebee must be so frustrated.]

[Anyone know what song Bumblebee just played, ‘Dazzling’?]

[A swarm of giant pythons—this scene is a bit creepy.]

[Is Professor Wang the reincarnation of Xu Xian?]

[Feels like Mr. Qiao is always amused by everyone.]

Zhang Fei nervously finished taking the photos and was about to step back when Qiao Mian, who’d been silent, asked, “Do you want a photo standing on a snake head?”

“Is that allowed?” Wang Yangzhe’s face lit up.

He’d chosen biology in university precisely because he loved reptiles, especially pythons.

“Python One, lower your head,” Qiao Mian commanded the largest python.

The snake obediently laid its head on the ground.

Wang Yangzhe climbed up in excitement.

Soon, as the python raised its head, he was lifted to seven or eight meters above the ground.

Zhang Fei snapped several photos.

“Anyone else want a group shot?” Qiao Mian asked the others.

“I’ll do it,” Wang Lang decided, not wanting to miss such an opportunity.

Liang Xiaoyu meekly raised her hand. “I’d like to try, but Mr. Qiao, could you put me up there directly?”

Qiao Mian frowned, thinking it over. The female streamer could still be useful, so he nodded. “Alright.”

He flew over, grabbed Liang Xiaoyu by the collar, and placed her on Python Two’s head.

Wang Lang had hoped to ask for a lift as well, but seeing Qiao Mian fly off, he suppressed his discomfort and climbed up himself.

Three snakes, heads raised high; three people, each with a different expression.

Qiao Mian had Zero record the scene.

These would all be promotional images for the park in the future.

After leaving the python enclosure, Liang Xiaoyu’s legs were still weak.

She’d been fine at first, but just as she stepped down, Python Thirteen flicked its tongue at her again.

She was nearly scared witless.

Thankfully, Qiao Mian chased Python Thirteen away in time; otherwise, she might have been slimed again.

“Python Thirteen really likes your scent,” Qiao Mian said. “It’s not just about food.”

Food…

Liang Xiaoyu glanced at the livestream chat, which was full of gleeful comments.

She turned her head slightly and saw Zhang Fei, holding his gun, trying to suppress his laughter.

“Infuriating!” Liang Xiaoyu raged inside.

She looked up at Qiao Mian hovering in the air, then at the bouncing, music-playing Bumblebee.

“I can’t walk anymore,” she said.

“Bumblebee!” Qiao Mian called.

“What pose does the lady prefer?” Bumblebee asked, sticking out its rear and looking back.

A flurry of question marks flew through the livestream.

[Car, such a fast car!]

[No wonder it's called Bumblebee—so wild and crazy.]

[Haha, the streamer looks so funny when she’s angry.]

[I want a girlfriend like this, someone I can tease every day.]

Qiao Mian’s expression grew odd.

Was Bumblebee doing this on purpose?

This guy was always online, and probably understood human jokes better than he did.

“Lady, why aren’t you speaking?” Bumblebee asked. “Don’t you like my broad shoulders and smooth chest?”

“It’s hard to move in car form in the jungle,” it said, leaning close to Liang Xiaoyu, head tilted.

Liang Xiaoyu rolled her eyes at the livestream. “All of you are so bad! Bumblebee is actually very pure; what would a Transformer even know?”

Suddenly, Bumblebee blasted music: “This is love…”

[Haha, I’m dying laughing.]

[Bumblebee just became my favorite.]

[Streamer, slap yourself?]

[‘What would a Transformer even know?’]

Liang Xiaoyu argued, “He’s just playing a song, that’s all.”

The music abruptly stopped, and Bumblebee changed the beat: “Cash as a gift, put on red and white leggings, all the bitches come to my house, everyone… little Christmas reindeer…”
