"The latest operation took place at an abandoned factory in the suburbs!"

Qin Feng muttered to himself, "It seems I'll have to go there myself."

As night fell like a heavy curtain, a black sedan sped along the bumpy dirt road, heading towards the outskirts of the city.

The car soon stopped a few hundred meters away from the factory.

Qin Feng got out and, under the cover of the night, silently crept toward the factory.

The perimeter of the abandoned factory was sealed off by a high chain-link fence. A few dim searchlights swept back and forth, casting eerie patterns of light and shadow.

Crouching behind a stack of abandoned shipping containers, Qin Feng carefully surveyed the factory grounds.

"A veritable dragon's pool and tiger's den indeed!"

The factory gates were tightly shut. Two burly guards armed with submachine guns patrolled back and forth at the entrance, keeping a vigilant eye on their surroundings.

Inside the compound, armed personnel in camouflage gear and fully loaded weapons moved about from time to time. The frequency and density of the patrols indicated that the place was heavily guarded.

"It looks like breaking in by force won't work."

Qin Feng frowned slightly and began searching for alternative entry points.

X-ray vision!

Qin Feng closed his eyes and concentrated.

When he opened them again, his eyes had turned an eerie silvery-white, capable of piercing through any obstacle.

Walls, iron doors, and even the patrolling guards were completely transparent to Qin Feng's sight.

He carefully studied the internal structure of the factory, searching for the optimal infiltration route.

Soon, Qin Feng discovered a blind spot in the surveillance on the west side of the factory, where a rusted iron door seemed to provide access to the interior.

"I'll go in through here!"

Holding his breath and hunching his back, Qin Feng silently crept toward the iron door.

Moving with the agility of a ghost, he skillfully evaded the line of sight of the patrolling guards and finally reached the iron door.

"Creak—"

Lacking maintenance for years, the iron door let out a harsh, grating sound that seemed especially abrupt in the silent night.

Qin Feng's heart tightened. He quickly dashed behind a concrete pillar, completely concealing his presence.

Fortunately, the armed guards didn't seem to notice the sound and continued their established patrol routes.

Qin Feng let out a sigh of relief and turned his gaze back to the iron door.

"Bang!"

With a swift kick, Qin Feng shattered the rusted padlock and slipped into the factory.

Inside the factory, the lighting was even dimmer, and the air was thick with a pungent, moldy odor.

Qin Feng lightened his footsteps, groping his way forward along the wall while using his X-ray vision to monitor his surroundings.

The interior layout was far more complex than it appeared from the outside, filled with crisscrossing corridors and rooms like a labyrinth.

Relying on the structural map of the factory he had memorized, Qin Feng stealthily moved toward the room where the hostage was being held.

Along the way, he encountered several squads of armed guards, but he managed to bypass them silently thanks to his acute perception and agile movements.

Finally, Qin Feng arrived outside the door of the hostage room.

Peering through a crack in the door, he saw only a single guard inside, while the hostage was bound to a chair with a black hood over their head, obscuring their face.

Just as Qin Feng was about to make a move, a faint sound of talking drifted out from the room.

Listening more closely, Qin Feng realized the guard was conversing with the hostage.

Curious about the hostage's identity, the guard was attempting to extract information.

Although weak, the hostage's voice unmistakably belonged to a woman.

Hearing the babbling foreign language, Qin Feng immediately felt a sense of dismay.

After going through so much trouble to sneak in, the hostage wasn't Long Xiaotian at all, but some foreign woman.

"What kind of mess is this?"

Qin Feng cursed inwardly, "I went through all this trouble, and this is what I get?"

Still, since he had already come this far, he couldn't just return empty-handed.

Qin Feng decided to observe the situation first.

Through the crack in the door, he closely watched the scene inside.

There was only one guard in the room—a burly man with a fierce, scarred face who was impatiently staring at the woman sitting across from him.

The woman was tied to a chair with a black hood over her head, hiding her features.

"Damn, she looks pretty hot."

Muttering to himself, the guard reached out to stroke the woman's thigh.

The woman struggled violently, emitting muffled sounds from beneath the hood.

"Feisty, are we?"

Far from stopping, the guard grew even more excited. He ripped the hood off the woman's head, revealing a panic-stricken face.

It was a quintessential Western face—blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin, her beauty undiminished even in these circumstances.

"Hey, beauty, what's your name?" the guard asked lewdly.

The woman looked at him in terror, shaking her head frantically while babbling in a language Qin Feng couldn't understand.

"Still stubborn!" the guard snorted coldly. "Even if you don't tell me, I have ways to find out!"

With that, he pulled a dagger from his pocket and waved it in front of the woman's eyes. "You see, I hate people who don't listen."

"What do you think you're doing?!"

Before the guard could finish, a chilling voice suddenly echoed through the room.

Startled, the guard jerked his head around to see a young man standing in the doorway, staring at him coldly.

"Who... who are you?"

Panic instantly gripped the guard. He never imagined anyone could sneak in without a sound.

"Your grandfather!"

Qin Feng smiled coldly and walked toward the guard step by step.

"D-don't come any closer!"

Terrified out of his wits, the guard brandished his dagger and lunged at Qin Feng.

Alas, he was far too slow.

Qin Feng clenched his right fist and delivered a ferocious blow straight to the guard's chest, unleashing a surge of raw power.

The guard's body flew backward like a cannonball, slammed against the wall, and crashed onto the floor.

"I don't like anyone acting arrogantly in front of me."

Qin Feng slowly walked up to the guard, squatted down, and patted his blood-stained cheek with the palm of his hand.

Clearly terrified by Qin Feng's overwhelming aura, the guard struggled to push himself up from the ground and put on a brave front.

"Brat, do you know whose territory this is? You've got a death wish coming here to cause trouble!"

Ignoring the man's bluster, Qin Feng walked slowly toward the woman bound to the chair.

Clearly frightened by the sudden turn of events, the woman stared at Qin Feng with wide, tear-filled blue eyes brimming with fear and helplessness.

Seeing Qin Feng approach, the woman grew even more terrified, struggling desperately to break free from the ropes, though all her efforts were in vain.

"Do you speak Chinese?"

Qin Feng asked.

The woman nodded, tears already streaming down her cheeks.

"Who are you, and why are you tied up here?"

Qin Feng cast an indifferent glance at the woman before turning his head back toward the guard.
