Chapter Sixty-Nine: Sister Hua, Jiang Yuechan
As soon as the two entered, they immediately drew the attention of everyone present. With their attire, it was clear at a glance that they were wealthy young men here for some amusement.
"Welcome!"
A man dressed like a manager rushed over to greet them.
"Are you the manager here?" Qin Feng asked bluntly.
"Yes, sir. What can I do for you?" The manager responded with utmost respect, his manner unusually enthusiastic.
"I'm here for someone—a fat man. Release him at once!" Qin Feng's tone was curt, laced with a distinct coldness.
At these words, a mocking smile flickered across the manager's face.
"So you’re here to make trouble!" The nearby staff, hearing this, began to gather around. Some even pulled knives from beneath the counter.
"Kid, you’ve got some nerve, causing trouble here? Believe me, I’ll cut you down where you stand!" A young man with dyed yellow hair strode over, his gaze menacing as he glared at Qin Feng.
A dozen or so enforcers cracked their knuckles, clearly ready to strike at any moment—it was obvious they had expected trouble.
"I’ll say it one more time. Release him now, or I’ll tear this place apart," Qin Feng said coolly, sweeping his gaze over the crowd without the slightest concern.
"Oh, you’re cocky, aren’t you? Boys, get him!"
The yellow-haired man, incensed, waved his arm and charged ahead.
With a crisp slap, Qin Feng struck him down, sending him sprawling on the ground. Without pause, he reached down, gripped the man’s neck, and squeezed hard.
A sickening crack reverberated through the hall, followed by screams and moans of agony.
For a brief moment, silence reigned. Every gambler was stunned, the manager included, his face turning ashen in an instant.
Was this for real? They were all ordinary folks—when had they ever witnessed such bloody brutality?
"Out of my way!"
After tossing the yellow-haired man aside, Qin Feng barked his command. Behind him, Yang Tianchen watched with a calm indifference, though Qin Feng noticed the young man had a fondness for posturing—lighting a cigarette at his leisure right after the commotion.
Qin Feng paid him no mind and strode toward the floor manager.
"I’ll say this once more: release my friend, or I’ll tear your casino apart."
The manager, though terrified, still refused and responded with a threat.
"Release him? Impossible! Do you even know whose place this is? Sister Hua of Jiangnan. If you dare act out of line, you won't walk out of here alive!"
He gritted his teeth in warning.
Qin Feng had no time for words. He kicked the manager aside and headed straight upstairs.
By now, the casino security had reacted and rushed toward him, but before they could get close, Qin Feng sent them flying with a single punch.
Soon, he arrived at the door of a luxurious suite. He pushed it open and found four men lounging on sofas, playing cards, chips piled high on the table, the picture of indulgence.
Seeing Qin Feng burst in, all four looked up at once.
"Well, well, who do we have here, swaggering in with such arrogance?" The man seated at the head of the sofa jeered at Qin Feng.
They were all high-ranking figures in the casino, and though they sensed that Qin Feng was not to be trifled with, there was no fear on their faces.
Qin Feng ignored them and walked forward.
Seeing this, the man on the left sofa rose abruptly, his face dark, and glared coldly at Qin Feng.
"Kid, do you know whose turf you’re on? I suggest you get on your knees and beg for forgiveness, and maybe I’ll spare your worthless life."
"Is that so?" Qin Feng’s brow arched, a wicked smile curling at his lips. "Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll oblige you."
With that, he tapped his toe lightly on the floor and shot forward, his right leg lashing out like a steel whip.
A dull thud echoed as a man in black shot backward, crashing into the wall.
Everyone present was stunned by the scene.
They had never imagined Qin Feng could move so quickly—one move and the man in black was down. It was terrifying.
"You bastard, you actually dared to hurt my brother! Get him, boys!"
The man in black struggled several times before staggering to his feet, pointing at Qin Feng and shouting in fury.
This one was clearly smarter than the rest; he didn’t attack alone but called for backup, hoping to bring in his allies to deal with the intruder.
Qin Feng frowned slightly, sensing a bit of trouble. He had only used the lightest of force, without employing any inner strength.
But even so, it was shocking enough. Still, these men showed no sign of backing down.
Yet Qin Feng had no intention of stopping. With scum like this, there was only one solution: a beating.
With another resounding slap, Qin Feng struck the man in black across the face. The force was immense; the man collapsed, unconscious.
The remaining three swallowed hard, terror flooding their hearts.
This man was a lunatic—he even struck his own!
"Boys, let’s take him together!"
The three exchanged glances, made up their minds, drew their weapons, and lunged at Qin Feng.
Three seconds later, they were sprawled across the floor, faces swollen and bruised, groaning in pain.
Just as Qin Feng was about to press on, the sound of high heels echoed at the stairway.
Step, step, step…
Hearing this, Qin Feng looked over to see a woman descending gracefully. She wore a red cheongsam and high heels, her air elegant and alluring, exuding a mature charm that caught the eye of more than a few gamblers.
Her features were flawless, her long hair cascading down, her eyes bright and enchanting—a natural beauty. She radiated the allure of a strong, sophisticated woman, and two burly men stood at her side.
"Young man, isn’t it rather inappropriate to make trouble on my turf?" she said, her voice crisp and magnetic.
Qin Feng remained silent, his gaze steady on her. She emanated a dangerous aura. He knew at once—she was no ordinary woman.
Sure enough, after a moment, the lady in red continued.
"My name is Jiang Yuechan. I own this casino. And you are?"
"Qin Feng," he answered simply, his eyes never leaving her as he asked, "Where’s my friend? Shouldn’t you release them first?"
