Lin Wanting examined the piece closely, admiration shining in her eyes. “It’s truly beautiful! I never imagined that, after being carved, these could become so vivid and full of artistic spirit.”

Qin Feng smiled and continued, “This is the charm of sculpture. It’s not merely the display of skill, but also an expression of emotion and a carrier of cultural heritage. Behind every work lies the sculptor’s dedication and story.”

Suddenly, an untimely voice sounded behind them.

“Wanting, you’re here too?”

Upon hearing the voice, Qin Feng turned around to see a man approaching. He was a bit curious about the man’s background, as entering such a prestigious exhibition required an invitation.

The man held a brocade box and was surrounded by several flamboyantly dressed young women. Clearly, he had come with an agenda. Those nearby stepped aside, giving him a path.

Lin Wanting frowned, her voice cold. “Liu Yuanhang, we’re not that close.”

Liu Yuanhang’s words infuriated Lin Wanting. “Liu Yuanhang, you’re shameless!”

Liu Yuanhang burst into laughter. “I’d like to see just what he’s got that managed to win you over.”

Qin Feng understood then—this man was probably one of Lin Wanting’s pursuers.

Lin Wanting was the only daughter of Lin Zhengnan, chairman of Lin Jewelry. From a young age, she had been doted on, blessed with both beauty and a striking figure, and had countless admirers. Yet she held little regard for them, even a degree of aversion.

“Hey, kid, if you know what’s good for you, get lost now. Otherwise, you’ll regret it!” Liu Yuanhang glared at Qin Feng, his eyes full of threat.

Qin Feng responded calmly, “Oh? I’d actually like to see you try.”

Liu Yuanhang’s expression turned vicious. He suddenly kicked at Qin Feng’s chest.

Qin Feng shifted lightly, dodging with ease.

Seeing his attack miss, Liu Yuanhang swung a fist at Qin Feng. Yet this time, he didn’t even graze the man’s clothes.

Qin Feng extended his right hand, seized Liu Yuanhang’s arm, and with a sharp twist, flung him onto a nearby table.

Crash!

The table splintered, wood chips scattering. Liu Yuanhang lay sprawled on the floor, howling in pain, unable to rise for quite a while.

“You little bastard, are you looking for trouble? Do you even know who I am?!”

Liu Yuanhang glared at Qin Feng, shouting furiously.

Qin Feng smirked, “Didn’t your parents ever teach you to respect your elders and care for the young?”

At the mention of his parents, a flicker of malice flashed in Liu Yuanhang’s eyes. He ground his teeth. “You dare to hit me today? I promise you’ll pay for this!”

Qin Feng raised an eyebrow. “I’m actually looking forward to it.”

“Hmph, let’s see if you can keep that cocky attitude later!”

With that, Liu Yuanhang pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

“Hello, Uncle Li? I’ve been attacked… Yeah, just some punk with no sense of his own limits. Please come and take care of it!”

Hanging up, Liu Yuanhang shot Qin Feng a menacing smile. “You’ll be begging soon enough. I’ll make sure to take my time with you.”

Qin Feng shrugged indifferently. “I’ll be waiting.”

Liu Yuanhang signaled to his female companions, then taunted, “If you’ve got any guts, don’t run off.”

Before long, a group of seven or eight burly men stormed into the hall. At their head was a man in his forties, who strode straight to Liu Yuanhang’s side and asked with concern, “Yuanhang, what happened?”

Liu Yuanhang glared at Qin Feng. “Uncle Li, that arrogant guy over there beat me up!”

The middle-aged man turned and swept a cold gaze over Qin Feng, barking, “Which blind fool did this? Step forward!”

Liu Yuanhang pointed at Qin Feng. “It was him!”

Qin Feng replied calmly, “Yes, I did it.”

“Oh?” The man narrowed his eyes, his tone icy. “And who do you think you are, daring to lay a hand on Yuanhang? Tired of living, are you?”

Qin Feng’s lips curled into a faint smile. “He harassed my friend and insulted me. Why shouldn’t I retaliate?”

The middle-aged man sneered coldly. “Good, very good! You’ve got nerve!”

Unfazed, Qin Feng lit a cigarette, exhaling a lazy ring of smoke.

“Qin Feng, be careful,” Lin Wanting whispered, tugging at his sleeve. “That’s one of the Liu family’s enforcers, Li Bing. He’s a retired special forces soldier.”

Qin Feng nodded to show he understood.

The man’s expression darkened. “Your name is Qin Feng?”

Taking a drag, Qin Feng replied evenly, “Yes.”

“Excellent. Since you admit it, you’re coming with us.”

“I’m not interested,” Qin Feng shook his head.

“Not interested?” Li Bing scoffed. “You don’t have a choice. Come on.”

He gestured, and several strongmen moved to grab Qin Feng.

At that instant, Qin Feng sprang into action. In a flash, he was in front of Li Bing, hand clamped around the man’s throat.

It wasn’t just his special sight—Qin Feng had learned martial arts from the legacy of Master Tongbao.

Crack!

With a slight twist, Li Bing’s neck bent at an unnatural angle.

“Let… go…” Li Bing choked, gasping desperately, on the verge of suffocation.

Without hesitation, Qin Feng tossed him aside and turned to leave.

Liu Yuanhang and his entourage were terrified. Qin Feng had moved so fast they only caught a blur—was this even human?

“You—you just wait! My father will never let you off!”

With a final threat, Liu Yuanhang fled in panic, afraid another moment might cost him his life.

Qin Feng couldn’t be bothered with these petty clowns.

“Get lost.”

Watching Liu Yuanhang’s sorry retreat, Qin Feng spoke calmly.

“Thank you,” Lin Wanting bowed in gratitude.

Though she hadn’t known Qin Feng long, he gave her a deep sense of security.

“So, what’s Liu Yuanhang’s background?” Qin Feng asked.

“Liu Yuanhang is the second son of Liu Dafu, owner of the Dafu Group in Henghai City. He’s used to throwing his weight around. He’s been pestering me for some time now, and I’m sick of it,” Lin Wanting sighed. “But it’s all right—he can’t hurt me now. Let’s go shopping.”

Qin Feng nodded and left with Lin Wanting.
