Chapter Fifty-Eight: Still Stubborn in the Face of Death
Liu Jun was a burly man with a fierce and intimidating appearance. His muscles bulged across his body, and his eyes, round and glaring like bronze bells, radiated a ruthless energy.
“Hmph! That brat dares to provoke the Liu family? He must have a death wish!” Liu Jun spat through gritted teeth. With a sudden slap of the table, he shot to his feet and roared, “Yuanhang, go and gather all our men. I want to see what waves Qin Feng thinks he can stir up in Jianghai!”
“Yes, sir!” Liu Yuanhang nodded and turned to leave, but just then, his phone rang in his pocket.
After answering the call, a murderous glint flashed across Liu Yuanhang’s face as he looked toward Liu Jun.
“Dad, that kid has shown up. He’s on his way here right now,” he said in a low voice.
“Good! Very good!” Liu Jun’s eyes burned with hatred as he snarled, “Since he dares to deliver himself to our doorstep, I’ll make sure he doesn’t leave alive!”
With those words, Liu Jun strode out the door, Liu Yuanhang close behind.
The two quickly summoned their men and marched in force toward the villa’s entrance.
Outside, two luxurious Mercedes-Benzes were parked, their doors open. Inside sat a dozen hulking men.
At their head was a man with a buzz cut and a powerful, stocky build, dressed in a black tracksuit, a thick chain around his neck, and tattoos snaking down his arms.
“Leopard, Qin Feng will be here any moment. How do you want to deal with him?” Liu Yuanhang strode up to the burly man known as Leopard, his eyes glinting with malice.
Leopard, whose real name was Li Bao, was the Liu family’s most capable enforcer in Jianghai. He was notorious for his ruthless methods and formidable strength.
“Leopard, it’s all up to you. This Qin Feng doesn’t know his place, daring to challenge the Liu family. Today, we’ll make an example of him!” Liu Yuanhang said through clenched teeth.
At his words, the gathered men all cracked their knuckles, excitement gleaming in their eyes.
They had heard of Qin Feng, but none had taken him seriously. After all, in Jianghai, the Liu family was king.
Even if a penny fell from the sky, it had to carry the Liu name!
Soon, a low-key black sedan glided to a stop outside the villa.
The door swung open, and Qin Feng stepped out. His gaze swept coldly over the hostile crowd, yet his face betrayed no fear—only calm composure.
“Qin Feng, you really dared to come!” Liu Yuanhang mocked, stepping out from the crowd and pointing at him.
Qin Feng smiled faintly. “Why wouldn’t I? Do you really think you can stop me with these men?”
“Hmph! Still talking tough on the brink of death!” Liu Jun strode out from the villa, his eyes as sharp as blades. “Qin Feng, today is your last day!”
Qin Feng simply shook his head, his voice even. “Liu Jun, I never intended to be your enemy, but you kept pushing. You can’t blame me for what happens now.”
“Oh? I’d like to see how you plan to show me no mercy!” Liu Jun burst out laughing, then waved for his men to attack.
At the signal, Leopard led the group charging at Qin Feng.
Faced with this overwhelming show of force, Qin Feng only smiled.
“Five Thunder Fist!”
With a low shout, Qin Feng shot forward like a tiger descending the mountain, plunging into the crowd.
His fists thundered with explosive power, each blow echoing with a rumble as if the heavens themselves were crashing down.
In the blink of an eye, the men at the front were sent flying with anguished cries.
“What?!” Liu Jun and Liu Yuanhang’s faces changed dramatically. They had never imagined that Qin Feng could be so formidable—defeating their first wave of attackers single-handedly with ease.
“Everyone, get him! Kill him!” Liu Jun roared, losing all composure as he ordered his men to pile in.
A swarm of burly thugs rushed out, brandishing an array of weapons toward Qin Feng.
“Five Thunder Fist!”
Qin Feng struck again, his fist crackling with thunder, roaring like a wild dragon.
Bang!
A series of dull thuds reverberated. The men were knocked back, their faces turning deathly pale.
They stared at Qin Feng in disbelief, terror written all over their faces. Who could have expected that this young man possessed such terrifying strength?
He was anything but ordinary!
“How is this possible?” Liu Jun was dumbfounded, staring blankly at Qin Feng.
“Not bad. You have some strength,” Qin Feng nodded at Liu Jun, his tone indifferent. “I gave you a chance, but you didn’t cherish it. This will save us both some trouble.”
“You… What are you planning?” Seeing the murderous intent in Qin Feng’s eyes, Liu Jun panicked and instinctively stepped back.
“Take a guess,” Qin Feng replied with a sly smile.
“I’m warning you—this is the Liu family’s territory in Jianghai! If you harm me, there will be consequences!” Liu Jun blustered, his bravado faltering.
Qin Feng laughed and shook his head. “Clearly, you won’t learn your lesson unless I teach it to you myself.”
Liu Jun trembled head to foot, blurting out, “Qin Feng, let’s talk this out. If you leave now, I can let bygones be bygones.”
“Let bygones be bygones? Do you take me for a child?” Qin Feng shook his head, and his voice turned cold.
“Too late!” As soon as the words left his lips, Qin Feng stepped forward and appeared before Liu Jun, swinging his arm in a resounding slap.
A sharp crack rang out.
“Ah!” Liu Jun screamed. One side of his face swelled red and puffy almost instantly.
“You... You actually hit me?” Liu Jun clutched his face, his eyes blazing with fury.
“Enough talk!” Qin Feng had no patience for him and struck again.
Slap! Slap! Slap…
In the blink of an eye, Qin Feng had landed seven or eight slaps, spinning Liu Jun where he stood and making blood spurt from his mouth and nose.
All around, everyone fell silent with fear. Not a soul dared step forward to intervene.
Qin Feng was simply too ruthless, treating Liu Jun as if he were nothing.
Liu Yuanhang’s face turned livid, veins bulging at his temple. He shouted furiously, “Bastard! Do you know what you’re doing? You’re finished!”
He was incensed—Qin Feng had just humiliated the head of the Liu family in front of everyone.
“Qin Feng, I’m warning you. If you kneel and beg for mercy now, you might still have a chance. Otherwise, when my uncle arrives, you’re dead!”
Liu Yuanhang’s face was grim, his teeth clenched. “My uncle is a third-rank master. You’re not even qualified to face him!”
