At last, the steel ball began to slow, hesitating between slot 24 and 17, as though it might drop into either at any moment.

Jiang Yuechan stared unblinkingly at the roulette wheel, breath quick and shallow, her palms slick with sweat. Qin Feng, on the other hand, remained remarkably composed, as if everything was unfolding precisely as he intended.

Suddenly, a strange turn of events occurred!

Just as the steel ball seemed about to stop, it was as if some invisible force had tugged at it; it bounced sharply, hopping across the wheel a few times before finally settling into—

“Seventeen!” The croupier’s voice trembled as he announced the result.

“How is that possible?!” Jiang Yuechan’s eyes widened in disbelief; she glared at the wheel as though she might bore a hole through it with her gaze.

“Miss Hua, it seems Lady Luck is on my side tonight.” Qin Feng wore the smile of a victor as he slowly rose to his feet, looking down at Jiang Yuechan from above. “A bet’s a bet. I’ll gladly accept this hundred million.”

In that instant, Jiang Yuechan sprang into action! Like lightning, her hand shot out and gripped Qin Feng’s wrist, a fierce glint flashing in her eyes.

“You little punk, do you dare cheat in my establishment?!”

No sooner had she spoken than the onlookers were herded out by the surrounding staff and enforcers. In less than a minute, only Qin Feng, Yang Tianchen, and the bound Wang Bo remained in the casino.

Qin Feng’s smile vanished, replaced by a gaze sharp as a blade. He twisted Jiang Yuechan’s wrist behind her back, his tone icy cold. “Miss Hua, what is the meaning of this? Are you trying to renege on your debt?”

Her wrist ached under his grip, but Jiang Yuechan forced herself to stay calm, letting out a cold laugh. “No one has ever dared cheat in my house!”

She tried to wrench her hand free, but his hold was as unyielding as iron.

“Miss Hua, you can eat whatever you like, but you can’t say whatever you want.” Qin Feng tightened his grip, his tone menacing. “You know very well whether I cheated or not.”

Jiang Yuechan’s expression changed subtly. She knew perfectly well Qin Feng hadn’t cheated—her accusation was just a test. But how could she admit defeat so easily?

“Do you even know who I am?!” she ground out between clenched teeth. “You’ve got a death wish, causing trouble in my place?!”

A cold gleam flashed in Qin Feng’s eyes. He sneered, “That’s what I’d like to ask you, Miss Hua. Who the hell do you think you are?”

With a forceful jerk, he flung her aside, his icy gaze sweeping over the guards and thugs nearby.

“You think this ragtag bunch can stop me?”

Jiang Yuechan steadied herself, uncertainty flickering in her beautiful eyes. She could tell Qin Feng was no ordinary man, but what was his background, truly?

At that moment, Yang Tianchen, who had been silently standing by Qin Feng’s side, finally spoke.

“You must be Tiger Jiang’s daughter.”

Jiang Yuechan’s pupils contracted. That casual remark from Yang Tianchen hit her heart like a sledgehammer.

Tiger Jiang was her father’s nickname—a well-known figure in both underworld and legitimate circles, who had amassed considerable wealth through gray enterprises, straddling both sides of the law. Few knew, however, that Tiger Jiang had only one precious daughter, whom he doted on beyond measure, never letting a harsh word slip from his lips. It was because of this that she, a woman, had managed to run such a grand casino in Jiangnan.

The shock passed quickly, and Jiang Yuechan recovered her composure, curling her lips into a scornful smile.

“Since you know who I am, you’d better apologize now. If I’m in a good mood, perhaps I’ll spare your miserable life.”

Qin Feng laughed—a wild, unrestrained laugh, as though he’d just heard the world’s best joke.

“Spare my life? You? Are you even qualified?”

“You bastard! You’re asking for death!” roared a burly man standing behind Jiang Yuechan, swinging a fist as big as a cooking pot straight at Qin Feng’s face.

“Hmph, fool.”

Qin Feng didn’t even bother to raise his eyes; he casually reached out and caught the powerful punch with one hand.

“What?!”

The big man’s face contorted in disbelief. It felt as though he had struck a block of solid steel—he couldn’t budge it an inch.

“With skills like that, you dare make a fool of yourself?” A cold glint flashed in Qin Feng’s eyes as his grip tightened.

Crack!

The sound of breaking bones rang out clearly. The man let out a pig-like scream as his entire arm twisted at a grotesque angle—clearly broken.

The surrounding guards and thugs gasped, staring at Qin Feng in terror. They were hardened men, used to living by the knife, and they could see at a glance that this young man was a truly dangerous opponent.

“Get him! All of you! Kill him!” Jiang Yuechan shrieked hysterically, her face ashen.

Though frightened, the guards dared not disobey their boss’s orders and charged forward, gritting their teeth.

“Overestimating yourselves.”

A cold smirk played at Qin Feng’s lips as he moved through the crowd like a phantom. Each strike was accompanied by the sound of shattering bones and agonized screams.

In less than a minute, every one of those fierce-looking guards and thugs was sprawled on the floor, groaning and writhing in pain—not one of them had managed to get near him.

Jiang Yuechan was utterly stunned. She never imagined that, with so many men at her command, she would be unable to deal with a single young man.

“Who… who are you really?” Her voice trembled, her eyes filled with fear.

“You’re not worthy to know.”

Qin Feng shot her a frosty glance. Without another word, he turned and walked toward Yang Tianchen and Wang Bo.

“Are you alright?” Yang Tianchen asked with concern.

“I’m fine,” Qin Feng replied, shaking his head. He turned to Wang Bo. “How about you?”

“I… I’m okay…” Wang Bo stammered, still shaken, his eyes full of gratitude.

He knew that without Qin Feng’s timely intervention, he would probably have died here tonight.

“That’s good.” Qin Feng patted him on the shoulder. “Let’s get out of here.”

“Alright.”

Yang Tianchen and Wang Bo nodded and followed Qin Feng out of the casino.

“Useless! All of you are useless!” Jiang Yuechan furiously swept the chips off the table, sending them clattering to the floor. “What’s the point of keeping a pack of useless trash like you?”

“Miss, should we inform the master?” Axiu asked timidly.

“Inform him? So he can come and laugh at me?” Jiang Yuechan sneered. “I’ll handle my own affairs!”

“Axiu, go find out who those two men are!”

Axiu hurried off to do her bidding, leaving Jiang Yuechan alone in the now-empty gambling hall, her heart a tumult of emotions.

Never before had she felt so defeated and powerless.

A seemingly ordinary young man had so easily bested both her and all her men.
